After a busy three weeks both on and off road, we had some time to settle down as a family and enjoy the great weather this weekend in Atlanta. Highlights:
Walking down to the front of our neighborhood and watching the construction on our new bridge. The road is closed, and we can perch on the neighborhood sign and watch the comings and goings of bulldozers, front loaders, dump trucks, cranes, and of course the ever-present construction workers.
On our various walks, we pass by a neighbor with these flowering plants that are all a-twitter with bumblebee activity. The twinkles love to watch the bees gathering nectar and bear witness to the miracle of pollination (thank you, Bee Movie, for putting that into animation).
And of course our next-door neighbor's tree is a perfect perch for climbing. Maya and Devin took turns cheesing for the camera as Uncle Davis stood behind me making faces to elicit responses. Said responses:
