If you look closely at this picture (stolen directly off of Valerie and Alan's blog), Valerie and I are actually laughing hysterically. Why, you ask? Well, if you remember this apparatus from your childhood (or anyone else's for that matter), then you know that we are actually spinning really fast and experiencing major centrifugal force at work. Very fun. Way more fun as an adult, I dare say. If you run into one of these and there are no "actual" kids in line, I highly recommend a whirl for posterity's sake... :-)
